Kajal Agarwal's free cameo 

Kajal Agarwal is doing a guest role in the Ram Charan Teja starrer Yevadu and this was hot news some months ago. The latest we hear is that the actress has done this role free of cost. Sharing a good rapport with Ram Charan, Kajal has decided not to demand a fee for the role. It may be mentioned here that Ram Charan’s cousin Allu Arjun will also be been in a cameo in this flick.

Yervadu is a romantic entertainer that stars Ram Charan Teja in the lead role and Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson as his heroines.

Suriya and Anushka do it for different films

Suriya will be sporting a new look for Dhuruva Natchathiram and on the film director’s request is working on reducing his weight. The director wants a lean-looking Suriya for the role and the star is hitting the gym with vigor, say sources.

Meanwhile, his co-star in Singam 2, Anushka is also taking the same route but for a different film. For Rani Rudramma Devi in which she plays the title role, the lady has reduced 15 kilos, we hear. Anushka’s new look in this period film will be cynosure of all eyes, say sources.

She is a south star and majorly appears in Tamil and Malayalam movies. Apart from these two she will soon be seen on Telugu movies too. Born in Kerala the actress never dreamt of becoming a star all her life. It was only after rejecting a few projects she gave acting a thought and decide to act in films. Her first debut movie was in Malayalam named “Positive” for which she received critical acclaim. The movie released in the year 2008 and in the same year she made a debut in a Tamil movie i.e. Tollywood and gained wide appreciation from audience and critics.

Kajal's denial... Shruti's gain... 

When the producers of Gabbar Singh 2 approached Kajal Agarwal to play the leading lady in the film, they were in for a shock with her demand for a huge pay packet. Following this, the filmmakers have decided to cast Shruti Haasan as the heroine in this sequel.

Interestingly, Shruti played Pawan Kalayan’s lead pair in the prequel but for some reason the filmmakers wanted a change and had approached Kajal. With her unreasonable demands, it was decided to cast Shruti in the sequel as well. Kajal’s denial has turned favorable for Shruti Haasan!

Nayan roped in for Jayam Ravi 

Jayam Ravi and Jayam Raja will be teaming up for a film after a long gap. The brothers have given several hits in the past but decided not to work together for a couple of years as it would become too sterenow otypical.

Jayam Raja is said to be ready with a script and Jayam Ravi is all set to join the sets as soon as he completes his current assignments on hands.

For this project, the brothers have roped in Nayanthara. Despite her busy schedule, the actress has allotted dates for this film as she is very impressed with the story, say sources in the tinsel town.

Hansika helps Suriya 

In Singam 2, Hansika plays a very important role, we hear. According to sources close to the film unit, Hansika helps Suriya nab the most dangerous criminals and bring them to justice.

Rahman is the don that Suriya wants to arrest for his criminal activities and Hansika plays his niece. In the process of helping Suriya, Hansika gets killed by her uncle and Suriya is enraged over this that he brings all their criminal activities to an end.

 Biriyani

Ask Venkat Prabhu what kind of role does the bubbly Hansika play in his upcoming film Biriyani, he says she is the ‘Chicken Piece’ of his film. In order to escape the consequences, he immediately explained that her role would add spice to the film like a real chicken piece would do for a good Biriyani.
The director also updated that the film is almost complete and that it would release in August. Karthi, Hansika and Premgi play the lead roles in the film and Ramki, Nitin Sathya, Madhumitha, Mandy Thakar, Uma Riaz Khan and Sam Anderson will appear in supporting roles. Studio Green is funding the project.

Samantha doesn't want to sign up big projects 

Samantha is one of the leading actresses in Kollywood as well as Tollywood and has several prestigious projects lined up needing her attention. However, the actress has said that next year she would love to be a part of small projects with exciting scripts.

Announcing this herself on a social networking site, Samantha has said that she is not likely to take up too many big budget films.

Meanwhile, the lady has begun shooting for the Telugu flick Manam, which stars Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya.
