Actress Mallika Sherawat recently shot for the second issue of ‘WMB 3D: World’s Most Beautiful’, the world’s first 3D magazine, in which Mallika has a beautiful 11-page feature. The magazine is available in print and also through the iTunes & Android app stores worldwide (App name is WMB 3D).

Here is a brief description of WMB: ‘WMB 3D: World’s Most Beautiful is the world’s first 3D magazine. It is photographed using the Saglimbeni3D camera system designed by celebrity photographer Nick Saglimbeni. A portion of profits from each issue are donated to charity. Here are the extracts a brief interview of Mallika Sherawath:

Q: What would you say to your Indian fans about your WMB 3D shoot?
A: Mallika: I’ve never been photographed like this before – the whole concept will completely take them by surprise. The fans will love it. Seventy percent of the population in India is under the age of 30, and this will definitely speak to them. And they love 3D in India!

Q: Do you think the definition of beauty is changing worldwide?
A: Mallika: I think it’s a very good time, not only for Indian actresses, but for all women of color. The world is finally seeing that. Salma Hayek, Halle Berry, these women paved the way. The idea of beauty and the idea of what makes a good leading lady have changed dramatically.

Q: If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
A: Mallika: I would stop all this nonsense with war and greed for material things, which is causing the destruction of relationships, families and the earth. But I would do it all with a really hot costume to keep people’s attention.

Sneha teams up with Vijay Sethupathi! 

Sneha has been roped in to play a crucial role in Pannaiyarum Padminiyum. This film stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. Sources in the know say that Sneha will be seen as the daughter of the Pannaiyar, played by Jayaprakash.

Pannaiyarum Padminiyum is directed by Arun Kumar. Interestingly, he had directed a short film with the same title and has now made a feature film out of this. Sources close to the team say that Sneha’s inclusion in the star cast has upped the expectation meter for Pannaiyarum Padminiyum.

Vikram Prabhu gets a gift... 

Vikram Prabhu is now busy on the sets of Arima Nambi. For this film, he has done a lot of homework and has worked on his get-up change and body language.

Happy over the efforts taken by this young star who hails for a very notable family in Kollywood, the film’s producer has gifted Vikram Prabhu with an Audi car. When producer S Dhanu walked into Vikram Prabhu’s home with the car keys, the actor was surprised and thanked him profusely for the kind gesture.

Thillu Mullu remake - Visu's petition dismissed

Actor-director Visu had filed a petition at the court seeking a stay on the release of Thillu Mullu remake. His contention was that he had penned the screenplay and dialogues for this film, which was released in 1981, and hence Vendhar Movies cannot remake it.

However, the producers contended that they had procured all the rights pertaining to Thillu Mullu from the producers of the original version. Taking note of this, the magistrate dismissed the petition and allowed the release of Thillu Mullu remake without any hassles.

Shruti Haasan steals the show 

Writer Kona Venkat has said that Shruti Haasan will be the show stealer in Balupu. This film, directed by Gopichand, stars Ravi Teja in the lead role. Comedian Brahmanandam has done a great job, revealed the writer in the social networking site. Samantha's cervical cancer awareness 

Samantha, despite her busy schedule, has been spreading awareness about breast cancer and the ways to diagnose it and get treated. She has now started to spread the message about cervical cancer and is advocating women to be very careful and look out for symptoms so that it can be diagnosed at early stages with the advanced treatment available now.

The actress had also tweeted that she has been vaccinated for cervical cancer and has appealed to all women out there to get vaccinated and stay clear of cancer. Well, that’s a very noble cause.

Power Star out... 

Power Star, Santhanam, Sethu and Vishaka Singh starred in Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya and this film went on to become a huge hit. The team, sans Power Star, has joined hands once again for the movie Vaaliba Raja.

This film is to be directed by Sai Gokul Ramnath, an assistant to KV Anand. Vaaliba Raja will be a comic caper coupled with family sentiments. Santhanam plays a psychiatrist in this flick. The shooting of this film will commence in Chennai on June 19^th and the hunt for another heroine is currently on, state sources in the tinsel town.
